What to expect on Introduction to Permaculture in Action at Maker Junction

Introduction to Permaculture in Action
The aim of this course is to, not only, give a basic understanding of what permaculture is but also to give each student the relevant tools and experience to redesign their own lifestyle and close environment to be in accordance with the basic ethics of permaculture: Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share (limits to consumption and redistribution of surplus).  Participants will learn the core guidelines and many practical techniques and strategies to create their own small, personal scale permaculture system.
Our hopes for this course is to create a group of cooperative people that will design and implement a Permaculture project in the Maker area.
Ideal for anyone with an interest to find out more about the potential of permaculture and to begin learning about creating sustainable human habitats which are both ecologically sound and economically profitable.
